Leona Gom

Leona Gom was born in 1946 in Alberta. A specialist in English literature, she taught in Alberta and for ten years she was editor and poetry editor of the literary magazine Event. As a poet, she has been published extensively in journals and anthologies around the world. As well as winning many prizes for her poetry, she has also written two plays for radio, which were both produced by the CBC. The Y Chromosome is Leona Gom's first futuristic novel. She now lives in British Columbia.
