Maxime Houde

Maxime Houde was born in 1973 in the city of Montreal, where he has lived ever since. After completing his studies in translation at the Université de Montréal, he worked for a few years in the Wilfrid-Derome Building, the headquarters of the Sûreté du Québec in Montreal. When he is not working, Maxime Houde devotes his time to the writing of the adventures of his 1940s Montreal detective, Stan Coveleski. His latest book, Le Poids des illusions, is Coveleski's fifth investigation.
