Sean Stewart

Sean Stewart was born in 1965 and his childhood was divided between Lubbock, Texas in the summer, and Edmonton in the winter. Passion Play, his first novel, was published by Beach Holme in 1992, and the next year he won the Arthur Ellis Award for best first crime novel, as well as the Aurora Award for best science fiction novel - two important Canadian awards. Since then, Sean Stewart has published six more novels, successful treatments of fantasy or magic realism. Galveston, (Ace, 2000) won the Sunburst Award and the prestigious World Fantasy Award. He now lives with his wife and two daughters in northern California. |
