In the kingdom of Contremont, Aster Ian Corybantier, a famous magician, is living a peaceful life. But strange events suddenly disturb his tranquillity. First there is the big cleaning, a chore no one can avoid, as Bernières, his housekeeper, says ; then things take a strange turn as the weather suddenly turns bad and an oak door decides to magically embed itself in a wall of the manor.
