On the Moon, Phaos resides in the labs of the Moon Institute
of Technology. It is the most sophisticated AI ever devised.
But the contents of its psystem commissioned by Simon Odako,
CEO of Thor Corp, the biggest corporate conglomerate at the end
of the 21st century, has been stolen despite extraordinary security
measures.
Jason Kolodine, an engineer who fled to Earth, is the apparent
culprit and Thor Corp's henchmen as well as those of rival conglomerates
are hot on his trail. But if Kolodine fled, it's because someone
else sabotaged Phaos before he found out. Who, and why ?
Making good use of the circumstances, the members of Thor
Corp's Board try to unseat Odako. However, he's not been idly
named The Lion God : even if his priority remains rescuing
of Phaos, he strikes back with devastating effect. Still, is
there anything left to rescue ? And why did Odako ask Evy
Laing, a mercenary in his pay, to find the last of the Light
Diggers ?
Phaos
a cyber-opera in three acts and two interludes by
one of the best Quebec writers of fantasy and science fiction.
