Here are a few must-see Web sites...

Web sites that are devoted to a specific genre are grouped under the corresponding pictogram. But before going to any other Web sites, we suggest you visit, if you have not already done so, the Web sites of the following magazines...

SOLARIS

Founded by Norbert Spehner, in 1974, under the name Requiem, Solaris is the first French-language science fiction and fantasy magazine in the world. Published in magazine format for a quarter century, Solaris is now printed in a 160 page quarterly digest.

ALIBIS

Solaris's little sister Alibis is devoted to crime, noir and mystery literature. Younger, born in 2001, its aim is to be the place of publication of choice for Canadian and Québécois francophone authors. Alibis is also printed as a quarterly digest, but with 144 pages.

Noosfère

An indispensable Web site on francophone science fiction. Information, an encyclopedia, Icarus, and many kinds of links.

BDFI
Another essential site devoted to literature of the imagination. It includes among other things an impressive quantity of author biographies...

Quarante-deux

...a documentation centre devoted to science fiction literature and illustration. A site to visit often if you want a better understanding of francophone science fiction...

Petit guide des éditions faniques francophones

This essential directory created by Jean-Pierre Queille indexes almost the entire field of francophone fan publications on science fiction and fantasy... and also the "professional" publications of several smaller publishers, or those who are just starting out.

GPSFFQ

The official Web site of the Grand Prix de la Science-Fiction et du Fantastique Québécois. Everything there is to know about the finalists and winners since its creation in 1984.
